Allow adding or linking subtasks under a parent task as a relational field. Subtasks should support customized due dates, assignees, communications, and dependencies.
Hi all — quick update on this one: we're already working on subtasks. The design we're building treats subtasks as their own mini-requests — each subtask supports its own status, assignee, comments, attachments, and time tracking. Effectively we're upgrading the existing checklist concept into something much more powerful.
We've also consolidated a duplicate ticket into this one so we can track the work in one place. I'll follow up with a sample of the design shortly.
